About Reside
As a specialist housing provider Reside is a not for profit organisation registered with the FSA under the Industrial and Provident Societies Act 1965.
Reside’s primary purpose is to provide good quality housing with assured tenancies for people with disabilities particularly those with a learning disability, mental health problems and acquired brain injury.
Reside was established in 2002 and has since pioneered new and innovative model of supported housing.
Support to tenants is provided by Reside Housing and accredited support providers through contractual agreements. This complimentary approach is designed to promote choice and enhance independent living, whilst at the same time protecting the rights and welfare of tenants.
To achieve these objectives, Reside partners, consults and contracts with many local authorities, local and national care providers, tenants, their families and brokers. Our wide ranging experience places Reside at the forefront in the provision of supported accommodation.
Reside provide everyday homes within the community with an emphasis on creating safe and homely environments. Reside have many properties located throughout England and Wales which offer a range of accommodation including bungalows, flats, bedsits, shared houses and shared ownership.
Reside is governed by an independent and voluntary board of trustees. The trustees are from various professional backgrounds and include tenant representatives. The trustees ensure at all times the association is in compliance with its charitable aims.
