Details of New Properties
Thursday, 12 Mar 2009
Throughout 2008, new properties have been opened for tenants in Cambridgeshire, Dorset, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Greater Manchester and Surrey.
A recent development has opened in Wisbech providing six individual rooms, a step down flatlet and a fully adapted wheelchair unit. The accommodation is within adjacent buildings set on a site with large gardens. Located close to local shops, properties offer comfortable and spacious accommodation for the tenants. Commissioners and care managers have been impressed by the quality of accommodation and we are receiving many referrals. If you are interested please make contact ASAP.
A lovely property providing a homely environment for up to 9 tenants is now open in Bury, Greater Manchester. The provision of quality accommodation close to a major metropolitan centre has been a welcome development for local commissioners. Further quality homes are planned for this region.
Reside have also acquired properties across Hertfordshire, Hampshire and Dorset within established communities to provide supported living accommodation for smaller tenant groupings and in one instance, included extensive adaptations to aid a wheelchair user. These developments were done in partnership with a National Care provider and the social services.
Supported living housing closer to Reside Housing’s base in Kingston-upon-Thames have opened in the Surrey area. Five schemes mark the provision of accommodation for transition tenants from more institutional surroundings into domestic scale homes of their own.
Chief Executive Peter Webster said “because of Reside Housing’s unique experience in providing specialist accommodation and support, increasingly funding bodies and care providers are looking to Reside to find solutions.”
