The Tenant Consultation for the merger between Reside and Progress Housing Group ended on 9 July – we would like to thank everyone for their responses.
We had 41 interactions with tenants, support staff and family regarding the merger, which took place mainly through face-to-face tenant visits and a few by email. There were 44 visits to the merger pages of our website between 1 May and 9 July 2021.
The responses were as follows:
- Five people sought reassurance/were given reassurance that this would not impact their support or support provider.
- Three people checked that the re-housing discussions underway would continue.
- Three people asked about the repairs service: two were hoping it would get better and one wanted to check that the out-of-hours support would remain.
- One person checked it would not impact their tenancy.
All other respondents logged no concerns or were happy/positive about the merger.
We had one request for a conversation from a stakeholder and 14 email responses. No-one had any issues with the proposals.
The next step is for the Reside Board is to assess the responses of the Tenant Consultation and confirm its decision to go ahead with the merger on 30 September 2021.
