We are pleased to confirm that Reside will join forces with Progress Housing Group in the Autumn.
This follows a robust due diligence process and approval by the Boards at both organisations. The two specialist housing providers are leaders in the supported living sector.
They have over 45 years of combined expertise in delivering high-quality housing and related services to meet the needs and aspirations of people with varying support needs, particularly learning disabilities and autism.
Progress Housing Group owns or manages more than 3,100 supported living tenancies, whilst Reside owns or manages around 1,450. The combined organisation has set itself the goal of becoming the leading provider of supported living accommodation, particularly for people with a learning disability or autism, in the country.
Together, we will play a major part in meeting the huge need for high-quality supported living accommodation. Our partnership will enable us to deliver more new homes and to invest in even better services for our customers. We believe that this partnership will be a significant and welcome development for the sector.
Diane French, Chief Executive Officer at Reside, said: “Reside’s purpose for nearly 20 years has been to respond to the often bespoke needs of those needing housing with support. By working together with Progress, another values-led provider, we will be able to house more people and enhance our specialist offer; allowing people to live their best lives, promoting independence and supporting social care commissioning. We believe that this partnership will be a significant and welcome development for the sector”.
Jacqui De-Rose, Group Chief Executive at Progress Housing Group said: “I am delighted that our two organisations have joined and that, as one organisation, we will play a major part in meeting the huge need for high-quality supported living accommodation. Our partnership will enable us to deliver more new homes and to deliver even better services for our customers.”
