Introducing Sophie, our Performance and Planning Co-ordinator

Latest news

Sophie talks about the experience and skills that she brings to her role, as well as her plans for improvements over the coming year.

“I am genuinely passionate about the housing sector and the rewarding work that goes into making sure people have a safe place they can call home!”

The role of Performance and Planning Co-ordinator

“I have several years’ experience working with housing data and I enjoy collaborating with teams to help them understand their performance in line with their processes. I recently assisted in a performance transformation project, highlighting the golden thread of how every task, team, and process has an impact on the tenant. I am excited by the prospect of using my skills further in this role to make improvements.

Providing better services to our tenants

February marked the launch of our new continuous improvement programme within RWP, focusing on providing ‘Better Quality Services’.

The programme assesses the quality of existing processes, training, and systems, and identifies improvements we can make in a strategic way. I am looking forward to getting stuck into the programme and assisting my colleagues. The benefits of these improvements will be:

  • Improved tenant experience and satisfaction
  • Building on expertise through effective training
  • Streamlined processes to create efficiency
  • Data quality improvements to enable decision making and insight

The next 12 months at RWP

With such an ambitious continuous improvement programme in place, there are three key objectives:

  • Mapping out existing processes with several priority areas including tenant journey, user experience, knowledge management, risk, and data quality.
  • Developing a project plan to capture the improvements that are identified, process by process, allowing us to take a systematic approach to managing resources and impact.
  • Knowledge management – our aim is to reassess how and where we store information and data to allow for easy access, version control and automation.

It will be a busy 12 months, but I am really excited to see where it takes me!”
