Hearing our tenants’ views is important to us, especially when they help us recruit new colleagues. Our tenant Emma was delighted to take part in interviewing candidates for a caretaker position recently in Leicester.
Emma lives at a supported living scheme in Leicester which has 13 self-contained flats with communal areas that tenants share. RWP works in partnership with care provider CIC, providing support to Emma and the other tenants
Emma was invited to join Ilir Demaj, one of our RWP Supported Living Housing Officers and RWP Housing Manager Kulwant Paddan on the interview panel. She contributed by giving her opinions on each candidate and whether she thought they would be a good caretaker at the property.
Emma has been a tenant for 18 years, so she knows the scheme well and is a great representative. We’re grateful for her input – thanks Emma!
