Summer garden party with our tenants

The tenants at one of our supported living schemes in Leicester made the most of the sunshine in June and enjoyed a fabulous garden party with their family members and the support team.
It was great to join our tenants at their party. There was a barbecue, lots of music and dancing, a raffle and a visit from the Lord Mayor Councillor Dr Susan Barton. She was joined by MP for Leicester South Jonathan Ashworth.
Scheme manager Gill Edwards from CIC was delighted with the party, especially as many family members came along too and the tenants had a great time. “We love hosting our annual celebration,” she said. “It’s all about laughter, spending time outside in the sunshine and enjoying life to the fullest.”
MP Jonathan Ashworth said: “It was fantastic to join the annual Garden Party and support the amazing work that the team do. There’s a fantastic community spirit, with everyone coming together to celebrate the people they support, living happy and fulfilling lives.”
