Celebrating a year of RWP

Latest news

On Saturday 1 April it will be a year since we launched the RWP brand in 2022 - and we’re celebrating!

Our distinctive pink, green and blue logo is easily recognisable with its fresh and modern feel. We’ve been working hard over the year to embed the brand and deliver work that encompasses RWP’s values as a trusted expert in the specialised supported housing sector.

As the leading provider of supported living in the country for autistic adults and people with a learning disability and a mental health condition, we’re committed to providing high quality homes and services. We want to empower people with support needs, to help them live independently in their communities and to make positive choices about their lives.

Les Warren, RWP Managing Director, comments on his stand-out moment of the year.  “A personal highlight for me was the opening of Annear Place, our new development in Nottingham. It was the culmination of years of work by RWP and our partners. The specification is amazing. Since the opening, tenants have now moved into the property and made it their home.”

It’s been a busy year for the RWP Development Team – there’s a lot to be proud of. Nicola Byrne, Head of Development at RWP, says: “We’ve successfully delivered 77 accommodation units over the year! Various NHS England capital grant-funded schemes have also been delivered for people with more complex needs and there has been an acquisition of a lease portfolio. We have continued to build a strong future delivery pipeline to meet our ambitious development strategies which include both asset and leased-based delivery of high quality housing.”

We’ve been working closely with our supported living tenants and support providers, too. Progress Involvement Officer Alan Grieg says: “It has been great to meet tenants and support teams at RWP properties who are enthusiastic about getting involved in our activities and events. It is wonderful to see them grow and develop in this role.”

Here’s what we have achieved with the RWP branding over the last 12 months:

  • Launched our website with a dedicated easy-read section for tenants and a support providers’ hub. With over 10,000 page views, it’s proving to be very popular.
  • Featured over 20 case studies on our website. We’ve heard stories from our tenants all around the country and have been privileged to meet them.
  • Created Your News, a 12-page tenant newsletter. Packed with news, competitions and stories, our colourful newsletter keeps our tenants up to date – and it’s fun to read!
  • Produced over 20 films for our RWP YouTube channel. Check out our explainers about repairs and safeguarding, along with our tenant interviews.
  • Set up our social media channels on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, encapsulating RWP’s tone of voice and style. With over 400 posts over the year across our socials, almost 2000 people now follow us.
  • Rebranded all of our tenant information and literature. From handbooks to easy read explainers, we are fully RWP in all the online and offline material we produce.

And here are just some of RWP’s supported living achievements over the year:

  • We’ve been responsible for more than 4,200 rental streams
  • We carried out over 500 planned maintenance works
  • We signed up over 300 new tenants
  • We went out to visit more than 1,500 homes and schemes
