Celebrating 30 Years of Progress

Latest news

RWP is part of Progress Housing Group, which this year celebrates 30 years of providing safe and secure homes.

Back in 1994, with one of the first transfers of council homes in the UK, Progress Housing Group started with a vision of providing safe and secure homes, where people could thrive and enjoy a good quality of life.

Reside Housing Association joined Progress Housing Group in 2021 and in 2022 RWP was created. It is now one of the leading providers of supported living accommodation in the UK for people with a learning disability, autistic people and those with a mental health condition. Last year, alone, we welcomed 374 new tenants.

Today, Progress Housing Group provides nearly 12,000 homes and RWP provides over 4,000 tenancies.

We want to encourage independence, and to that end we support people to make positive choices and to live fulfilled lives.

What is in store for RWP?

By March 2024, RWP will have successfully delivered 34 asset-based schemes which are a mix of single person and shared models and we hope to have onboarded some leased schemes with new partners.

RWP has a programme for delivery in 2024/2025 which will see the highest number of new supported living asset-based schemes being delivered in over eight years.

“As a Group, we have seen the benefit of pooling knowledge and experience to grow together as a strong and resilient organisation. I look forward to seeing what else we can achieve,” shares Les, Managing Director at RWP.
