Happy in my Home campaign launches

Latest news

We were proud to launch the Learning Disability & Autism Housing Network’s Happy in my Home campaign in March 2022, to coincide with World Autism Acceptance Week.

The Learning Disability and Autism Housing Network (LDAHN) is a coalition of 20 housing associations calling for action to address the barriers for new, sustainable quality housing for people with a learning disability or autism.

The LDAHN seeks to:

  • raise awareness of the housing needs and aspirations of people with a learning disability and/or autism
  • promote the positive impact and value of supported housing
  • influence national policy change to increase the supply of housing

The Happy in my Home campaign is set to promote the work of the Learning Disability & Autism Housing Network and show the impact of good quality housing on tenants. The campaign seeks to raise the profile of the coalition and encourage other housing associations to join. We need a strong collective voice to highlight the challenges people face in finding supported living accommodation that meets their needs

We want tenants to be able to make choices about living independently because we know the positive impact it has on their lives.
