Meet Vicki
Our tenant Vicki, 53, lives in Southport, Merseyside in a shared house and has been there for over 10 years.
Vicki is very sociable and loves being around people. She enjoys playing board games with her support worker Leah. She keeps her home very tidy and loves the colour pink. We visited her recently to take some photos and we spoke about Vicki with the scheme manager Maria who works for support provider Lifeways.
“Over the last few years I have seen Vicki develop and grow in confidence. She has come on in leaps and bounds and become more confident. Vicki is lively and outgoing, and she likes to be out and about.”
“During the pandemic Vicki had Covid and she was very ill. We were very worried about her but she recovered after a time. She lost her confidence because she wasn’t going out but she is building on that now. It’s good for the new support staff here to see that and understand how independent Vicki can be.”
We asked Vicki about what she likes to do when she goes out. She said: “I like to see all my friends, and I really love going out for Chinese food!”
